Tan Cang Saigon Corporation Participates in Vietnam Defence Expo 2024 to Promote International Cooperation in Defence and Logistics

From December 19 to 23, at Gia Lam Airport (Phuc Dong, Long Bien, Hanoi), Tan Cang Saigon Corporation participated in Vietnam Defence Expo 2024. This prestigious international event is a key highlight, coinciding with activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 35th anniversary of the All-People’s National Defence Festival.

Vietnam Defence Expo 2024 serves as an important platform for strengthening international cooperation, fostering defence diplomacy, and building trust between Vietnam and global partners. It allows countries and businesses to showcase cutting-edge defence technologies, exchange policies, and explore new opportunities for collaboration in national defence and industry development.

This year’s exhibition spans over 100,000 square meters, with 15,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space—double the size of the 2022 edition—and over 20,000 square meters of outdoor displays. The event features advanced presentation technologies, including 3D mapping, VR simulations of key historical campaigns such as the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and Ho Chi Minh Campaign, and interactive displays of iconic military events. With approximately 250 exhibition booths from 50 countries and performances by over 2,000 officers and soldiers, the event highlights Vietnam’s increasing role in global defence cooperation.

Its logistics network connects key trade routes across Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.

The corporation also specializes in handling oversized and heavy cargo for renewable energy projects such as solar and wind power in Central Vietnam, the Central Highlands, and the Mekong Delta. Additionally, TCSG offers electronic customs brokerage services and international door-to-door logistics through an extensive network of over 50 global agents in key markets like the United States, China, and South Korea.

At Vietnam Defence Expo 2024, Tan Cang Saigon Corporation, alongside subsidiaries such as SNP Logistics, Tan Cang – Petro Cam Ranh, Tan Cang Gantry, ICD Tan Cang Que Vo, and Tan Cang Offshore Services, showcased its latest green and digital transformation initiatives.

The corporation also introduced specialized logistics services, including: heavy-lift cargo transportation, naval and civilian vessel reception at maritime service hubs, offshore supply and maritime rescue services, design, manufacturing, leasing, and trading of port equipment

Through its successful participation in the exhibition, Tan Cang Saigon Corporation was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of National Defence for its contributions.

This event reaffirmed TCSG’s commitment to strengthening Vietnam’s logistics and defence capabilities, expanding global partnerships, and driving innovation in port and logistics services.

Participating in the exhibition, Saigon Newport Corporation completed its tasks well and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of National Defense.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien presented Certificates of Merit from the Minister of National Defense to collectives with outstanding achievements at the exhibition.
