This milestone marks a significant step in TCIT’s strategic cooperation with shipping partners, enhancing connectivity and providing import-export enterprises with competitive advantages in global trade.

New Service Line – Strengthening Connectivity, Optimizing Costs

The ZSL/Pelican service offers a direct shipping route from Southern Vietnam to the U.S. Gulf region, featuring a streamlined itinerary:

This route reduces transit times and minimizes transshipment steps, thereby optimizing logistics costs for customers. The service is operated by a fleet of 12 mother vessels deployed jointly by MSC and ZIM, with an average capacity of 8,000 – 12,000 TEUs. Among them, M/V Ningbo (ZIM) boasts a deadweight of 108,574 tons, a length of 334 meters, and a capacity of up to 8,440 TEUs, making it one of the most efficient vessels in its segment. The new service ensures strong transport capacity, meeting the growing market demand.

Practical Benefits for Import-Export Enterprises

By choosing TCIT as the Vietnamese gateway for the ZSL/Pelican service, import-export enterprises gain an additional reliable transportation option, enhancing their competitiveness in international trade.

Beyond improving transportation efficiency, this service strengthens regional connectivity by linking major dry ports, ICDs, and depots in Vietnam’s key southern economic region, including: Tan Cang Long Binh Dry Port, Tan Cang Song Than ICD, Tan Cang Tan Van Depot…

This integrated network enhances connections between industrial zones, production hubs, and seaports, facilitating Vietnamese exports to major global markets such as Europe and North America.

Commitment to Sustainable Development & Long-Term Cooperation

TCIT representatives extended their gratitude to ZIM, MSC, partners, and customers for their trust in TCIT as a strategic logistics hub. They reaffirmed TCIT’s commitment to continuous investment and service enhancement, ensuring the best value for customers.

With a vision of sustainable development, TCIT and its parent company, Saigon Newport Corporation, will continue to expand logistics solutions, strengthen connectivity across the global supply chain and enhance service quality to position Vietnam as a key logistics hub
